I previously had a blog through a different service, and I'm not sure if it was just the fact that I had a considerable amount of spare time on my hands back then or what, but I posted very regularly.  These days I guess I just feel like there aren't a whole lot of interesting thoughts going on in my head.

Bubba and I have accepted a call into full time ministry at a church in Odessa Texas. I'm super excited about the move (and a little scared, too.)  When we do get all settled, I will not be working nearly so much.  Maybe then I will be able to have a little bit of time to sit down and just think again.  I miss that.

I guess we'll see.

Confession: I didn't set this up myself. It was forced upon me by some... family members in the hopes of helping me to use my creative outlet (which I'm beginning to wonder if it exists.)

Only time will tell if this gameplan proves to be effective. It would be nice, I just have little to no time to be creative these days.

I would like to draw a picture of the beautiful caterpillars that I discovered munching away on the plants today. Had to take those little guys off! Most people don't want those kinds of pets with their plants. They don't necessarily qualify as a "beneficial" garden insect. But they are so beautiful, so maybe if I have time this evening I can sketch 'em up...
